The Bellwether

Mistral is a special place in Sherman Oaks. The owner is so involved that the restaurant has the feeling of a private club. The food is first rate and the service is just as good. The wine list is outstanding with many wines that are what appears to be straight retail. The wine service and glassware is also super. the are always wine groups coming to use the restaurant as a wine tasting spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This barbecue is a Japanese-style barbecue restaurant. There are many types of barbecue. Grilled beef tongue, dried shells, mushrooms, etc. are very delicious. There is also shell soup. As for sashimi, their uni120 points are super sweet, really as if they have just been caught from the sea.
